                   John Henry was killed at 78 when he rode his bike over a power line on a farm path on his way to going fishing.  According to his grandson, Richard Culbertson, the newpapers at the time said he was trying to save an electrocuted dog but  John Henry was well aware of the dangers of electricity and it is more likely that with failing eyesight he didn't see the powerline on the path he was traveling.

                   According to Culbertson family history Pharsalia was committed to the Dayton Infirmiry when her daughter Garnet died and her grief was so severe she could no longer take care of herself.
