Married at Brunswick Presbyterian Church according to Mc Chesney, page293.
Pittstown given as location in 1940 Eddy Book.
Historical display at First Congregational Church gives pew # 46 $18for
J.C.Eddy. His pew in church in Brunswick given in Barney's letter of06 AUG
1946.
Edie's letter of June 1979 says JC was 33 when they came to Simsburywhich
would put it in 1886 rather than 1884 the year calculated by Barney8-6-1946.
By that reckoning Sherman would have been 9 years old. 1886 is theyear of
migration also according to a magazine article in the August 1923National
Grange Monthly which see.
The family bible (see refin notes for Sherman Eddy) gives Memorandaas
follows: Moved to Simsbury 01 APR 1886. Moved to Riverside for thewinter NOV
1899. Left the farm fall 1904. Sold the farm 1906.
This also agrees with Prindle's Mc Chesney genealogy.
