                   The record for Olive Wells marriage to Luther Eddy in Pownal Vermontonly
mentions a Mister Eddy  The age difference between Olive andLuther(born
1776) seems  to be too great.
Further research is necessary, beginning with appropriate censusrecords and
then land transactions. CD ROM at Connecticut Genealogical Society,East
Hartford, JAN 1995 gives Luther Eddy of Brunswick, Rensalaer County,New York
on 1850 census- page 077. Also a Luther D Eddy page 081.

                   Birthplace given by JC Eddy on death certificate of John Sherman Eddy.
Another source says she was from Williamstown.  I could find no recordin Town
Hall at Williamstown, Mass. in 1989. Justice of Peace who performedthe
marriage states that she was from Adams, Berkshire County, NY.
2 more children are reported to have died young in 1930 edition of theEddy
Family in America.
