1678 he received warrant for 120 acres of land, Monmouth County 1686, December 7, his first intentions of marriage with Rebecca Tilton were published before the Shrewsbury Monthly Meeting of Women. 1697, June 1, he occupied land in Middletown 1709, October 19, he made his will which was proved September 7, 1710. In his will he styled himself as "Daniel Appelgat", SR, resident of Middletown, Monmouth County. He named his wife, Rebecca, sole heiress and executor of real estate and personal property; two eldest sons, John and Jacob, each to receive six shillings, two youngest sons, Bartholomew and Ebeneezer, each to receive one shilling; four daughters Susanna, Hannah, Mary and Rebecca, each to receive one shilling. 1 _TITLE Notes
1787, October 14 he made his will, names John, Samuel, Israel, Sarah, Rebecca, Hannah as children and grand-daughter, Elizabeth Jefferies. 1 _TITLE Notes

He married Rebeka Tilton 16 Dec 1686 . Rebeka Tilton was born at Gravesend, Long Island, New York 6 Sep 1667 .
