	Grant W. Buxton, 73, Springfield, was dead on arrival at 3:45 p.m. Friday at St. John's Hospital. He had suffered from an illness of several years. Mr. Buxton had retired in 1960 from the Springfield Ice and Refrigeration Company. He was a member of High Street Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Nancy; two sons, Leon, Springfield and Gail, Carthage; two daughters, Mrs. Louise Law, Houston, Texas and Mrs. Katherine McCoy, Cuernavaca, N. M.; a brother, Norman, Ozark; 13 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral services were at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Ayre-Goodwin Chapel with the Rev. L. V. Swadley officiating. Burial was in Rivermont Memorial gardens.	1  _TITLE Obit

Nancy A. Buxton, 84, Springfield, Northside Nursing Home, died at noon Sept. 16 in the nursing home after a short illness. A native of Sparta, Mrs. Buxton had been a Springfield resident for the past 42 years. She was a member of Seminole Baptist Temple. Survivors include two sons, Leon, Springfield, and Gail, Carthage; two daughters, Mrs. Katherene McCoy, Tlapa, Mexico, and Mrs. Louise Law, Houston, Texas; a brother, Henry Shipman, Oldfield; 13 grandchildren and 22 great- grandchildren. Service: were held Saturday in Ayre-Goodwin Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Karrike officiating. Burial was in Rivermonte Cemetery.	1  _TITLE OBIT
