Funeral services for David D. Adams, 89, who died at 3:50 a.m. Wednesday in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Ollie Anderson, 2333 North Concord, Springfield with whom he had resided for several years, were at 2 p.m. today in Chadwick Union Church, Burial was in Old Boston Cemetery, near Oldfield, under the direction of Harris of Ozark. Mr. Adams, who was a resident of Christian County most of his life, was a retired farmer. He is survived by three other daughters, Mrs. Icie Williams, Chadwick, Mrs. Virginia Horner, Ava, and Mrs. Ina Boston, Braddyville, Iowa; two sons, L. W. Adams, Springfield and Raymond E., Klamath Falls, Ore.; 12 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and one great great grandchildren	1  _TITLE OBIT

                   Ida Melissa (Hughes) Adams
Mrs. Ida Melissa Adams, 76, a lifelong resident of the Chadwick community, died at 12:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 7 at her home in Chadwick after an illness of two months. Mrs. Adams is survived by her husband, Dave; four daughters, Mrs. Icie Williams of Chadwick, Mrs. Virgie Horner of Keltner, Mrs. Ollie Anderson of Springfield and Mrs. Ina Boston of Burlington Junction; two sons, L. W. Adams of Springfield and Raymond E. Adams of Perris, Calif.; four sisters, Mrs. Minnie St. John, Mrs. Hattie Adams and Mrs, Myrtle Applegate of Sparta and Mrs. Rebecca Johnson of St. Joseph; three brothers, Houston Hughes of Eunice, Mo., Charles Hughes of Tarkio and Henry Hughes of Chadwick; 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Sunday at the Chadwick Union Church by the Rev, Charles Shipman. Burial was in Old Boston Cemetery, east of Oldfield, under direction of Harris of Nixa.
