Mrs. Belle Buxton died Monday morning at her home in Ozark. She was 75. She had been ill several years. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon in the Chaffin Funeral home with the Rev. Harold Hurst delivering the funeral message. Burial was in the Ozark cemetery. Martha Isabelle Buxton was born January 9, 1875 in Christian County, the daughter of Reuben Wilber Ross and Mary More Ross, and was reared in the Linden community. While in her teens she married Mack Poynor, who died ten years later. In 1908 she married William Alexander Buxton. To them one son was born, Norman Eugene. Mr. Buxton died in 1943. She is survived by her son, Norman, and one grandson, Norman Eugene, of Ozark; two half-brothers, Rube Ross of Springfield and Ed Ross of Cleveland, Oklahoma, and one half-sister, Mrs. Rhoda Fowler of McCracken.1  _TITLE OBIT
