Charles II James STUART, DUKE OF CORNWALL KING OF ENGLAND HRH

                   Declared King of England, Scotland, Ireland and France and proclaimedDefender
of the Faith. He was in exile until the Restoration, being proclaimedKing in
Westminster Hall on 08 MAY 1660. He returned to London, 29 MAY 1660and was
crowned 23 APR 1661. Reportedly had fifteen children by fivemistresses. From
him descend (in the male line) the present (1996) Dukes of Buccleuchand
Queensberry, Grafton, Saint Albans, Richmond and Lennox. Reigned1660-1685. He
is the Great-great-great-great-grandfather of George Washington ParkeCustis.
