Henry Jackson CLARK

October 11, 1892, H. Z. Clark was in Kaufman County, Texas.  He appeared before J. S. Ward, Justice of the Peace of Kaufman County to have his signature notarized.  He signed a deed as heir of Permelia Estes (his grandmother) on a one-acre tract of land which was located at Estes Mill, Mississippi.  it is assumed that he went to Kaufman County, Texas from Leake County, Mississippi at the time his aunt, Mary Jane Clark Estes and her husband Robert Scott Estes went.  It is known that the latter family arrived in Forney, Kaufman county, Texas in the late fall of 1890.

Henry Z. Clark died of a cancerous tumor on his neck.  A doctor told him that he could lance the mass out.  After the doctor lanced the tumor, Henry died.
