                   Funeral services for Asa Jefferson Manasco, age 65 years, were held at his home near Fisher, 2:30 pm last Friday by Rev. Johnson, Pastor Many Pentecostal church.  Mr. Manasco expired at his residence after an illness of eight years.  Interment was in Fisher Cemetery under the direction of Massingill funeral home.  Surviving are wife; sons, Elmer A., Silsbee, TX; Artis, Galveston, TX and Curtis of Zwolle; daughters, Mrs. Leady Manasco; Mrs. Leola Lewing, both of Fisher, Mrs. Myrtis Eason of New Mexico; Mrs. Lela Humphrey, Goodwater, Al; Mrs. Louis Barron of New Mexico; sister, Mrs. Julie Barron, Vowell's Mill, [IT:The Sabine Index:IT], Sabine, Louisiana  (March 7, 1947)

Artis Manasco Jr., 56, died in Many, Monday, Nov. 8, at 1:30 p.m., after a short illness.
Funeral services were held at the Warren Meadows Chapel Wednesday, Nov. 10, at 10 a.m., with the Rev. L. C. Manasco officiating.  Interment was in the Fisher Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home
Pallbearers were Sherman Lewing, Andy Hennigan, Ray Lewing, Herbert Lewing, Kenneth Gunn, Mid Barron, and Jack Barron.
Surviving relatives are his wife, Betty Joe Manasco of Houston, Tex.; one son, Art Jefferson Manasco of Houston; two brothers, W. C., and Elmer Manasco, both of Many; five sisters, Leda Manasco, Many;  Leola Lewing, Florien; Myrtie Eason, Fair Oaks, Calif,; Lela Humphrey, Linesville, Ala.; and Lois Barron of Eupora, Miss.
