Horatio Brewer lists Hezekiah's father as Samuel Wade Magruder, who was a son of Alexander Magruder II, and his mother as Lucy Beall. All other evidence appears to indicate that this generation did not appear in our family tree.
Side-Lights on Maryland History states that Hezekiah Magruder received a commission as first lieutenant in the Revolutionary Army in 1777.
