Daniel LAWRENCE
Hollis, Hillsborough, NH Maine to Bloom Township, Morgan Co, Ohio. Travel by wagon. Daniel Lawrence was a native of the State of Maine, whenc e he emigrated to Bloom Township, Morgan County in 1818. T he entire journey was made by wagon, over mountains, fording streams, and through miles and miles of almost trackless wilderness. The journey was safely made, however, and the family, consisting of himself, wife and nine children, found a home on the southeast side of the township.
