Philip Rockel FREY
Rev. War - Ensign in the 8th Regiment in service of the King. Engaged in battle of Wyoming. Died at Palestine in 1823. From Frey Family History. Philip was a surveyor who laid out the first two townships at Niagara, where his family and many other veterans of Butler's Rangers settled.
He married Elizabeth Terrill 1798 at Montgomery Co., New York . Elizabeth Terrill was born at Ephratah, Fulton Co., New York 1774 daughter of William Terrill, (Pvt. Drummer - Rev. War) and Jane .
