Funeral services for James K. Polk McHaffie, 66, who died last Thursday, May 7, were held Saturday in the McHaffie church near Bruner, conducted by Rev. Gaught, with burial in McHaffie Cemetery under direction of the Chaffin Funeral Home of Ozark. He was a farmer and a lifelong resident of Christian County. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lula McHaffie, one son, David, Seymour; seven daughters, Mrs. Emma Davidson of Sparta; Mrs. Brooksie Dalton of Rogersville, Mrs. Bertha Todd and Mrs. Daisy Pruitt of Wichita, Mrs. Ruby Cook of Seymour, Mrs. Pearl McHaffie of Bruner, Miss Julia Ann McHaffie of the home; one brother, Oda McHaffie of Bruner; and four sisters, Mrs. Kittie Monger and Mrs. Reba Martin of Rogersville, Mrs. Mary E.
