David O. D. McHaffie, 82, well-known farmer and stockman of the Bruner community, died at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, in his farm home four miles northeast of Bruner. Mr. McHaffie collapsed when he return to his home after feeding livestock. He had had a heart condition. Mr. McHaffie is survived by a son, Virgil of Star Route, Bruner; a daughter, Mrs. Nina Todd of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Grace Monger of Springfield and Mrs. Phebe Marlin of Bruner; and three grandchildren. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday in Harris Chapel, Ozark with Dwayne Bray officiating. Burial was in McHaffie Cemetery. Harris of Ozark directed.	1  _TITLE OBIT
