Margaret remained a prisoner in the Tower of London, after her husband was hanged until through the influence of William Roos, Lord Roos of Hamlake, she obtained her freedom. She then went to the nunnery of Minoresses near London. She had two shillings a day for her maintenance, to be paid by the sheriff of Essex. She later regained for her dowry some of the deceased Lord's manors.
Also d. 1365.
She died between 4 Mar 1326/7 and 24 May 1327.
