Died at Roxbury or Charlestown, Massachusetts. He came to New Englandleaving in 04 NOV 1631 from Bristol, England, aboard the ship Lion, andafter ten weeks at sea, arriving in Boston, Massachusetts in SEP 1631. He had settled at Hartford, Connecticut, was described as a man ofestate and maintained two servants in his home. His name is inscribed on a stone column in the rear of the CenterChurch in Hartford, erected in memory of the first settlers of the City.
