                   John and Abigail had nine children.Also recorded as Baptized 03 OCT1641.
John served in the military services during King Phillip's War, 24 Oct1676.
He was chosen General Assemblyman in 1693 and both OCT and NOV 1694 tomeet in
New Castle. He was Tythingman, Surveyor of Highways and hadseveral
responsibilities empowering him to govern the taking, payment and useof
maste trees(these were very valuable trees selected for masts uponsailing
ships and were carefully governed by the King's interests).

Constable in 1728.
Surveyor of Fences in 1933;
Petitioned to be joined to Massachusetts in 1739.  He became wealthyand
influential in his region.
