William Sylvester CARVEY

Wm. [S.] CARVEY, who livesnear Macy, died Tuesday afternoon at the age
of 81 years. He had been in poor health for some time and lately
gradually grew worse until the end. The cause of his death is assigned to
a complication of diseases together with old age. One brother and one
sister are left to mourn for their brother.
Mr. Carvey was a civil war veteran, a pioneer of Allen township and for
many years has been a resident of Macy.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 11 oclock atthe Christian church,
of which he was a member. The services will be conducted by Rev. BEARD.
Interment will be made in the Macy Odd Fellows cemetery.
