Mary K. Reyome (nee Hatch) Griffith Mary K. Reyome, age 85 of Griffith,
passed away Monday, August 23, 2004. She is survived by loving sons,
James (Anna) Reyome and Jack (Patricia) Reyome; devoted daughter, Judy
(Bob) Burks, all of Griffith; ten grandchildren: Mike (Leticia) Reyome of
Hobart, James (Shelly) Reyome of Tennessee, Kathy (Tony) Grimmer of
Merrillville, Kelly (Terry) Hansen of Schererville, Karrie (Gary) Allen
of Colorado, Kristen (Steve) Jones of Montana, MaryBeth Burks-Richards of
Plainfield, IN, Jason (Holly) Reyome of Indianapolis, Gavin Reyome and
Kimberly Reyome, both of Griffith; 14 great-grandchildren; two
great-great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Dian Reyome of Crown Point
andseveral nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by husband, Glen; son
Richard;parents, Lee and Nina Hatch; brothers: Myron and John Hatch and
sister, Marjorie Petty. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 27,
2004 at 11:30 a.m. at the Kuiper Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Hallsted,
officiating. Burial, Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville. Friends are
invited to meet with the family on Thursday, August 26, 2004 from
4:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home, 9039Kleinman Road (two blocks south
of Ridge Road), Highland. Mrs. Reyome was retired from Packaging
Corporation of America in 1969. She also worked many years at the Ben
Franklin Store in Griffith and for many years, she helped her husband,
Glen organize the 4th of July parade in Griffith. She was also involved
in the Griffith Historical Society and the Art in the Park Committee. She
resided in Griffith for 64 years and was devoted to the people of
Griffith.
