Nov. 14, 1895 - Alva CULVER, of Mo., aged 88. He was born in
Vermont, and cameto Plainfield in 1834, buying a part of the
"Gibson" property. In 1861 he moved to Mo., where he resided
until his death.

Alva Culver, one of Plainfield's early pioneers, died at his
home in Testin, Mo., last week of hemorrhage of the lungs. Mr.
culver is a brother of Sereno Culver of Plainfield and was born
in Vermont.. He was 88 years old and came to Plainfield in 1834,
moving to Missouri in 1861.
