                   CharlesE. Brooks Who's illnes was noted in last week's Times, passed away
onWednesday, July 17th , at 12:30 P.M.at the loretta hospital in New
Ulm. He had been ill about three weeks, suffering from gall stones and
cancer of the gall blader, and about ten Days before his death he
submitted to an operation.In the operation it was found that the aiment
was malignant and no hope was given for his recovery.
