Archibald Asoland WEEKS

                   Died from a stroke at his home in Inglewood, CA.  James his brother postponed his wedding because of the death and funeral.  Forris was 29 married and had 3 children.  He was the third in our family to die young after the previous deaths of Preston and Wilford, brothers.  All the brothers who had jobs set aside an amount for Flora and her children each each.  After 2 1/2 years,  Flora married John Will whom she and forris had known at Inglewood Ward.  Soon after their marriage, the family moved to Beaver, UT
                  

                   Postponed his wedding to Lillian because of the death of his brother Forris.  They then married and had six children.  James had a chicken ranch on Riberside Drive in Los Angeles before he moved to anderson, CA and operated a dairy farm located on the Sacramento River for years until developers bought his land for a residential subdivision in 1970's.
                  

                   One Family Group Sheet which was filled out by Leo himself has listed as 21 July 1920 but that is 11 days before he was 8.  I had Jul 31st which Gerry his wife records from the Vernal Ward Record so we are going with that date. It doesn't make sense that he was baptized a whole 11 days before he was 8 years old. Perhaps check Hollywood ward church records. Temple Ready had his name come up to be sealed to parents.  We don't knowwhy the records didn't have his sealing but it was redone 22 May 2002 SDIEG

For a few years, Leo Leon and Geraldine lived near Herb Price on Friday Harbor.  The entire family lived on a big sheep ranch in the country.  Leo had only done electric wholesale work but quickly learned how to run electricity and helped wire homes throughout the Island.  Although I did not know Leo personally, his reputation has given me the idea of what a great person he was.  In 1963, he died as a result of a heart condition.  His family was crushed.  Today, they still recall his effort to be involved with each of his children individually.  If it wasn't sports events, it was outings he would take them on.  No matter what the cost, he was there for them.
