      (3) Humprhey de Bohun VI:  (d.August/October 27, 1265).  He married
      Alianor/Eleanor de Braose, daughter of William de Braose of Brecknock, Lordof
      Abergavenny and his wife Eva Marshal, daughter of William Marshal and Isabel de
      Clare.  In 1257 he helped his father keep the marches/borders and in 1263 he
      joined his father to fortify the castles on the marches against Llewellyn.He
      joined the barons against the king and in 1264 had custody of Winchester
      Castle.  He fought at the battle of Evesham un 1265 where he was taken prisoner
      and predeceased his father by ten years.  Eleanor was buried at Llanthony in
      Gloucestershire.  They had a daughter, Agnes/Alianore who married Robert de
      Ferrers of Chartley, a descendant of Sayer de Quincy, and they had a son,

      (5) Humphrey de Bohun VII:  (b.1251, d.December 31 or November 30, 1298,
      Pleshy, County Essex, buried Walden).  He married July 20, 1275, Maud de
      Fiennes, widow of John de Vescy and cousin of Queen Eleanor of England.  Hewas
      the third Earl of Hereford and second Earl of Essex and Constable of England.
      In 1292 he was fined and imprisoned.  In 1296/7 he escorted John, Earl of
      Holland, who had married the Princess Elizabeth Plantagenet, daughter of King
      Edward I, to Holland to claim his inheritance.  The princess, age 14, was
      married two years later at age 16 to Humphrey's own son Humphrey VII after her
      husband's death.  Until his death, Humphrey and Roger Bigod, fifth Earl of
      Norfolk, strongly opposed Edward I's measures for arbitrary taxation and early
      in 1297 he and Bigod refused to serve in Gascony on the plea they were not
      bound to foreign service except in company with the king.  At a levy of the
      military forces of the kingdom, the two earls refused to do their duty as
