12-15-99 Talked to Clellie Ballard...1-801-571-3283 on the phone and she told me about this family..
He went to Kentucky and had another family...He walked away from the 1st family.  5 children from first marriage.
and took some of the children with him.  Clellie comes through Mary Bird Maynard (who joined the Mormon church). After he left it is said that his wife had a baby born out of wedlock (note: possible reason he left).  She was out walking one day and the baby was dropped and died as a result of the fall.   Baby was Robert Maynard....he died when 8 months old.

"Weyman Maynard went fishing one day and never came back.  Later he came when Charlotte was not at home and took Angenoma and Riley and Charlotte lived with her son Wilson in a small cabin and cried for her children the rest of her life.  She had Robert and Mary Bird wad him and fell over a log and he died at 9 months old.  Mary Louise Herren told me this story."
