I have a copy, the original note is in possession of Mary Muller Sayers, Alexandria, Va. I do not know where he got this information but it is a clue to work with. "Benj Holden, my great, grandfather, was born in England and married in England, then came to America while it was a colony and was in the Rev
War -7 yrs- settled in Va. and built the 1st brick house in Clarksburg then moved to Harrison Co.." On an other note he said he built the 1st brick house in Charleston...??? His father was Pearson B. Holden, Jr., grandfather would have been Benjamin Holden and great grandfather would also be a BENJAMIN HOLDEN.
It is hopeful that we can determine, with more research, if this is a fact. Where would this Benj. be buried? What happened to him? Lots of questions.
I'm trying to get everything digested and it will take awhile to get set up properly to transmit all that I'd like to send.
        Sincerely,
Ellie Johnson (Eleanor Law Johnson, 530 S.4th St.,Las Vegas, NV 89101)
