Old letter in my possession: Letter written by Lucy Snow, Rebeca Ann Wardwell and Emily Plaisted 26 July 1846 from York, Maine to Edna Farnsworth in Defiance County, Ohio (Farmer Twp). Difficult to read. In Emily's remarks, she said, "I little thought that I ever should have another child, but we must be content if it is our lot. He is a nice fat boy. He was born the 6th July." At end of her letter she says, "Today is Frances birthday...he is 8 years old." 1850 Census York, York, Maine...
