But, on Feb. 26, 1998 received a letter from N. Maxine Haddock, 310 North St., Apt 11-B, Tahlequah, Ok  74464 with further information on the family of John Fox and Sophronia Maynard Fox....so have entered the corrections on my records and the sources in source fields.

I am doing family history research on my deceased mother's line.  Her mother was Sophronia Maynard, sister to your grandmother, Ruth Maynard.
The parameters of my research are:  looking back from my mother's position to her direct line and sideward/laterally to her cousins.  Your mother, Dorsa, was her cousin.
At this time, I am searching for the marriage record of Charles and Nancy.  From the documentation I do have, I gather that they married ca 1931-1933.  Can you give me the exact date? And is Oakland, Alameda County, the correct place?
If you could e-mail or call me ASAP (because of the upcoming July 1 changes in release of vital records to the public), I would appreciate it.
Your on-line Garrison family entries have been helpful in my researching of documentation.  And, this may not be the only question I will have for you...later on.

This has been a busy day for me on the pc (which is through my phoneline)...making myself finally get to the census project for our Haddock family reunion next Saturday.  I think cell phone calls are those usually not accepted by the "privacy" feature on my phone.

Thanks very much for the marriage data.  I have been looking in CA, having come across no Nevada reference for them. Several states are restricting access to vital records to immediate family members, legal representatives, etc.  As of July 1, that will take effect in CA. I have all the other data you listed for Nancy.

As far as I know, there was no obit for Ezekiel.  Most "ordinary" people didn't get one back in those days; some didn't even get a proper marker/headstone.

I don't know of a Bible, but if I should hear of one, will let you  know. The first census I have for Andrew Mainard is 1850, DeKalb County, pg  94, entry 681-681.

The Garrisons are about the last family on my list for researching.  One of these days (and I hope before too much longer), I will start my family history compilation.  Will be glad to send you a copy...if and when it  ever gets done...although much of it covers my mother's direct line and might not be of interest to you.

But, I will most likely be back to you with another question or two in  the near future.

Wesley F. Fox, a longtime resident and farmer of Washington County died at 6 p.m. Sunday, in the Colonial Nursing Home after and extended illness.
Mr. Fox was born in Cookson, Tenn., Feb 29.1892 and as a child came to Tahlequah Indian Territory where he was reared and received his education. Mr. Fox was married to Mary Daugherty in 1916 in Stillwell. They made their residence in Washington County in 1918 and Mr. Fox was actively engaged in farming in the Bartlesville area until he made his home in Jay in 1950. Mrs. Fox died in 1973 and Mr. Fox made his residence in the Colonial Nursing Home due to ill health in 1971.
