Dear Ellie,
	Let me introduce myself, I am Elaine L Holden Deeley the great granddaughter of Franklin C Holden b: 29 April 1845, Champaign County, Ohio and the granddaughter of Americus Rice Holden b: 26 Dec 1879, Van Wert County, Van Wert, Ohio. Daughter of Harry Franklin Holden b: 3 Oct 1904, Van Wert County, Van Wert, Ohio. I have been working on the Holden/Deeley genealogy since 1993 when we purchased our first computer. I had boxes of family papers, including birth announcements, high school graduations, Wedding announcements, and death announcements. My mother Marguerite Brothers Holden b: 19 July 1905, Allen County, Lima, Ohio. saved all of these pieces of family history in a big suite box stored under her bed. Lucky for me I happened to be preset when my sister was trying to decide what to do with this box of memories. I said I would take the box back to Georgia with me. The rest is now history.
	In September after a trip to the Family History Center in Salt Lake City I decided to join several of the on-line genealogy sites. Since I have a copy of the Beery Family history by Werner which contained my father's name and date of birth, I began my on-line search. Much to my surprise I discovered Scott Kendall, related thru Thomas W Holden a brother of Franklin C  Holden.  A few weeks later I discovered Jane Hunter Hodgson's wonderful site. Jane was kind enough to give me your name and e-mail address. She said you lived in Las Vegas, my husband has a sister who lives in Las Vegas. We visit her several times a year. What a small world
My husband and I are going to visit Jane and Dan next month. Fred and  Dan will play golf while Jane tries to teach me a few tricks on the computer. We just had a quick one day visit in Palm Desert, CA this week. Just a
beautiful drive thru the desert and mountains from San Diego County,  Ramona, CA our present home. I still can't believe I have run across so many relatives in such a short time.
