Not having good health......doctors come to house...people coming to give them baths...
She talked about what a good marriage that she and Howard had and what a spiritual relationship she had.
We have to keep maintaining our faith. I have always had faith in God and in Jesus Christ.
She was previously married and he died....

Dorothy......had a stroke

Mary from Mexico came and visited a few months ago...Christina is getting married  She graduated from college Carletous married about last year

Your mother, Dorsa, and I had a good relationship.
I read the Bible to your mother a few days before she died.........She said,"Cora, will you read the Bible to me"
She wouldn't reveal her illness to others.....Maud was there and I told Maud that Dorsa was sicker than anyone knew.   
Pleas,Maud and mother went down to Mexico to check on health.......She wanted to see those doctors.  Dorsa was almost a doctor herself she knew so much about medical......
The skin on her legs looked bad........
Dorsa was a good person and didn't want to worry anyone.....
She did a beautiful thing raising a nice family.  She loved Ted and she loved her kids....
Love and a marriage relationship and a nice family is the highest success in life....
We lost our family....sister and brothers.........all we have now is their kids...they call us and visit us....Ilene's 
had 5 children.....kids,etc. Isabell...call us all the time.....Her husb. a professor at Duke University in No.Carolina..  
Reddey is his name.  They send us fruit and flowers....

Just me again. Yesterday Mary and Rose handed me a small printed sheet with the following information on it. I don't know if they put this in the paper or not..... 
Cora Rylee Maxwell, 89, of Las Vegas, passed away June 21, 2004, in her home. Cora was born May 31, 1915, in Texas. For 26 years she was the beloved wife of Howard Maxwell of Los Angeles. Although she had no children of her own, she was like a mother to countless nieces, nephews and family members, who will miss her dearly. Her sister, with whom she has lived in Las Vegas for over 20 years, Rosebud Bishop, survives her. Cora believed you must spread your roses while people are alive, and through sharing that love, you can leave the world a better place. Her legacy is that love. Graveside services were previously held at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Covina (California). Arrangements were handled by Palm Mortuary-Downtown.

I've done a little research and found the family (Floy & Maggie Rylee) in a 1930 Texas Census if you want that information.

Cora Maxwell, 89, a homemaker, of Las Vegas, died June 21, 2004. Services will be private. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Covina Hills Covina, Calif.
