See notes for historical information Abraham Ringer and wife Alberdene (enumerated as Albert de Ringer, female) lived in Breton, Washington, Missouri in 1850. Next door lived Conrad Norwine, wife Mary Norwine, son Henry, Henry's wife Nancy, and thier children. Abraham is listed as a stone mason, and Conrad as a farmer, though some notes on Ancestry.com state that Conrad was a rope maker also. Conrad lists his birthplace as Germany, as do his children Alberdene Norwine Ringer and Henry Ringer, both on the same page, but other documents tend to support a birthplace of Missouri, although they claim German ancestry. Abraham lists his birthplace as Maryland, concurring with our records.
