NAME: aka Harry IMMIGRATION: 1907 (per 1930 Census) Naturalized Served as a witness on Hagop Harotoun Samuelian's (born 1 Jan 1887) naturalization record. He lists his father as Hagop Samuelian on his immigration record, and his birthplace as Kayseri. These are most likely cousins, although further evidence will be necessary.
Imigrated 1919 (per 1930 census) Ship Manifest found showing immigration. Arrived in New York Dec 29, 1919 on the "Presidente Wilson". Azniv and the two sons, no husband. Also shows that her father in law, Nazar Maissian, is the closest living relative in the country of origin, and he's living in Cessaria, Turkey. Her younger brother Aram left in June 1919 to get her, saying on his passport application that his intent was "to bring sister and 2 children back to United States whose husband and all relatives have been massacred."

Leaving the US aboard the Canada on 6 Jun 1919.

WWI draft card shows wife and mother dependants on his income, emplyed as a taylor by his brother Karekin. WWII draft card says he was born in Constantinople. Megerditch's passport application shows that his father was born in Talas, Turkey.Sailed from Constantinople, Nov 25, 1911. Naturalized before the District Court of Pennsylvania at Philadelphia on 9 sep 1924.
