The Missionary who taught them the Gospel Quinn Mckay who was a grandson of David O. Mckay, and Elder Duall. Elder Russel M.Ballard was one of the last missionaies who taught her the last discussions. He would comeover and Mary would make her famous Truffle and give it to them.

Terry got married to Mary Beinder Ridley on 3 February 1940. Terry returned Home to Seaton, Devonshire, England. He returned home there because during WWII the women and children who lived in London were sent out into the country due to the raids that were going on in London. So Terry joined his family in Seaton. In was in the forces almost 6 years and 4/12 over seas. When he came back he had gotten T.B. And back then they didnt know how to treat it so the removed your lung that was affected. They were so worried about the children getting it that children of parents who had T.B. were sent to open air schools fro their education. Terry and Mary had to children Roger and Marilyn. Mary remembers the missionaries coming to her house but it wasnt until Elder Quinn Mckay who was a grandson of David O. Mckay, and Elder Duall. Elder Russell M. Ballard was one of the last missionaries who taught her the last discussions. He would come over and Mary would make her famous Truffle and give it to them. Mary was baptized in her chapel. The Chapel was called the South London branch Chapel. As was Terry was baptized there as well. October 16, 1950. And they were sealed as a family in the London temple on 4 October 1958. Terry worked as a Camera Opertaor. Terry became a bishop of the new ward in 26 February 1961. Back then they would send the new bishops to US for training they came over and loved it so much that they stayed. Roger stayed behind and served a serve mission and meet Valerie Ann Aston and they got on July 4 1964 in the branch chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, Northenden, Manchester, county Borough of Manchester.
