Barbara "Venedam" Pumyea _ Answer____ From: thibp@cox.net Well Barbara, I guess that would make us cousins  Glad to finally meet someone from this line      I descend through Jehan Corporon and wife Francoise Savoie through their daughter Elizabeth Isabelle Corporan who married William "Billy" (Johnson) Jeansonne Married 1715; through their son Charles b. 1725 married Marie Aucoin 1744; through their son Charles II b. 1747, who married Marie Rose Brasseaux 1775; through their son Joseph b. 1784 who married Sophia (Landerno) Guillot; through their son Hypolite Jeansonne b. 1804 who married Louisa Lisa Reed and their son Addison who married Matilda (Johnson) Jeansonne (as far as I can tell they were 2nd Cousins); their daughter Sarah Johnson who married Oscar McGuire who were my great grandparents. Maybe you can fill me in on th eir daughter Jeanne Corporon who married Antonie Hébert, because all I have is the info on their daughter Elizabeth Isabelle.  I also have one more generation back that I scooped off the internet, but have nothing to back it up, but I found the following:  Francoise Sovoie's father was Tomaso Francesco , Prince of Savoy b. December 21, 1596, Torino, Italy d. January 22, 1655/56 Torino, Italy.  Supposedly Royalty.  I don't have anything to document this, as a matter of fact I can't even find my notes as to where I found it.  I think it might have been Ancestry.com.  or Familysearch.org.
