Randall, Viking Press, Printers, New Bedford, Mass, 1924, pg 83. Clipping reads: "DIED TRIPP. - On January 22d, 1887, on the homestead in 125-73, McPherson County, Dakota. Julia Tripp, during confinement. Age, 37 years. Julia Hollister was born July 16th, 1850, in Barre, Orleans County, N.Y.; was married to C. A. Tripp, April 29th, 1867; moved immediately to Butte, Bates County, Mo., where she resided 18 years, coming to the present homestead in June 1885. Mrs. Tripp leaves seven living children, besides the last one who died and was buried with his mother on the homestead."
