                   Was married to Sofie Thomasdatter.  They are the parents of a daughter - Sigrid, born 25 Dec. 1917.  They also had a son - Kristian, 17 May 1914.

Ole and Sofie died of T.B. (tuberculosis) when their children were very young. Sigrid was 5 and was sent to be raised by Maren Nohre on the farm Knut was born and raised on (mother of Knut Nohre and grandmother of Maren Nohre Mason). Kristian was sent to his father's uncle, Karl Svendby.  Is he still living?

Ole Svendby sold the farm to his brother Martinius Svendby.

Sigrid is the daughter of Ole Svendby and Sofie Brunes (Thomasdatter) both who died of T.B.  Both children sent to different family members homes to be raised.  Sigrid was sent to my grandmother's farm (Bjorkrud), her name was Maren Sorensdtr. Nohre. Sigrid had a brother Kristian Svendby who was sent to be raised by his Uncle Karl Svendby. Kristian was 2 years older than Sigrid.
