NOTE: Christina and Martin remained in Scotland and raised their family there. However, their descendants are now scattered over different parts of Scotland, England and Canada, but the majority are in Scotland.
NAME: Sarah (Meron) BEATON
NOTE: Catherine and Hugh and family left their home in Scotland and came to Canada in the year 1846. They settled on a farm in Bentinck, Ontario, where Mrs. MacLean lived until her death. She was the mother of Malcolm MacLean, who was for sixty years Postmaster at Walkerton, Ontario.
NOTE: Elizabeth and Donald remained in Scotland and brought up their family of three daughters and one son there, and they too remain in Scotland. Elizabeth and Anne carried on a furrier's business in Greenock. However, a grandson, Martin Campbell, and his wife came to Canada, and the family still live there.
NOTE: Margaret and Duncan remained in Scotland, but the family scattered until there are descendants in Australia, England, Canada, India and Scotland.
NOTE: Ann and Angus and family came to Canada in the year 1846, and settled in Vaughan Township, Ontario - later living at Glenelg and Egremont.
He married Ann McIntyre 25 Jul 1780 at Kilninian & Kilmore, Mull, Argyll, Scotland . Ann McIntyre was born at of Mull, Argyll, Scotland Abt 1760 .
