                   According to the obit in the St. Edward Advocate Lavern and his familymoved to
the Gretna, Nebraska area when he was 4 years old.

8/1996 - Traveled to Albion, Nebr. to check Albion newspaper at publiclibrary.  Went on to St. Edward to check the paper there.  Found obit onfront page and copied.  Checked at Creston, Nebr. to get names and phone#'s of cemetery officials. LaVern is buried in an unmarked grave next toEmma Cunningham.  Lot #9, E1/2.  On 1/21/1929 (b. 1928) an infant wasburied in the same plot.  Info from Geo. Brown, 8/8/96.
