Note:  In "Archaeologia Cambrensis", 4s, v. 7, p. 197, it states the above
wife was a sister of Iestyn ap Gwrgan, and on p. 200 it states she was a
daughter of Iestyn ap Gwrgan.  It would appear that inasmuch as Eva, the above wife, was mother of children who could hardly have been born later than the year 1000, and probably earlier, that she could hardly have been a daughter of Iestyn ap Gwrgan, who in turn could not have been born earlier than 969 and possibly later.  It is far more likely she was his sister.

Note:  There were apparently other sons in the above family, inasmuch as Gwyn
is called the 7th son and Gruffydd the 11th son.  There are claims that the
above couple had a daughter Eva who married Maredydd ap Bleddyn, Prince of
Powys as his second wife, and still others that she was the daughter of
Blettrws, above child.  The seoncd claim would appear more likely inasmuch as
Maredydd died in 1132, therefore it is not likely Eva would have been born
early enough to be the daughter of the above couple.
