Cambr., Wales Pub. A, v. 5, 4s, p. 101. Note: The claim in Burke's Extinct Peerage that the above couple had a daughter "Isolda" who married 1st Walter Balem and secondly Hugh (Lord Audley is not supported by data in "The Complete Peerage", G.E.C., v. 1, wherein it states Hugh Audley married Isolt daughter of Edmund de Mortimer and that this Isolt was a mother of a son Hugh Audley who was born in 1289. This being the case, it would appear "Isolda" or "Isolt" is a daughter in a generation later than the above children. It has also been claimed by others doing temple work that the above couple had sons Ralph, Edmund, William and Geoffrey, but the sources quoted by those making the claim do not support it, nor do any of the above sources. The children of Ralph de Mortimer, Lord of Wigmore, and Gwladys "ddu" verch Llewelyn "Fawr" were sealed to Reginald de Braose, first husband, and to their mother on 14 Sep 1959 SL. Mother was sealed to first husband 23 Dec 1914.
