VITAL: Name also "Tucke."BIOGRAPHY: Arrived in 1638 with Rev Steven Bachiler and his followers, became one of the original grantees and settlers in Hampton. He conducted the first "ordinary"--an inn licensed to sell "wine and strong water"--in the town. He was also the third town clerk and served several terms as selectman of Hampton.
