OBITUARY:
    John Cork, 82, a farmer, and a native of England, died at the home of his son, R.V. Cork, manager of the George Wright farm, west of Hillery, at 4:45 o'clock Monday morning. He had been ill for some time. He was born in Plymouth, England, July 30, 1841, the son of John and Mary Rabbidge Cork, coming to America when he was a small boy. He has resided in Vermilion for the past 77 years. His wife the late Martha R. Cork, died several years ago. He is survived by two sons. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon from the Lincoln M.E. Church with the Rev. T.F. Shouse officiating. Burial will be made in Springhill Cemetery.
