             On March 27, 1801 in Lincoln County, North Carolina, Peter Eppley, with Henry Carpenter
             as Bondsman was issued a Marriage Bond to marry Susannah Schrum.  The bond was
             issued three months after the birth of Peter and Susannah's first born child, Henry Epley.
             Henry was born Dec. 26, 1800, as recorded in the Family Bible. Lincoln County, North Carolina
             Bastardy Bonds and Records; Year 1800--(Male's name left blank on abstract) at the complaint
            of Susanna Scrum.

             North Carolina where on Oct. 23, 1811 he bought 63 acres  of land from Daniel Epley.
