1816 21 Deed in Tenn 100 Acres grant #96 as Father served in Rev War pension. 1820 he longed to know where his children had gone as they had all gone west, so he left his aged wife and on wagon left to find is children. He became stricken and died in Stokes Co, North Carolina. He was buried in the Cumberland Gap soildiers cemetery.
