Governor of virginia came to Virginia 1623 granted 200 acres at blount point 20 Aug 1642. Later 3,000 acres building on Warwick river 20 Aug 1642. 3,000 acres on James river. Denberg plantation was on 5,211 acres Potomic River when governor 23 Nov 1657 called Fluer-de- hundred. he also recieved land when he married Frances 1621.

Francis married second 1621 Nathaiel West who died 1624. Before 1625 she married Abraham Pierce who died 1628. 1629 she married Samuel Martain. She first came to Virginia with the Tracy Company on the "Supply". Nathaniel West was brother to Lord Delaware, and had a son Nathaniel West. Abraham came to Virginia on the " Swan" 1616 a widower with 2 daughters, Mary age 11 and Elizabeth age 15 who married Frances May 1625. Thomas Hill, Mary Martains husband and her were in charge of will. She had Samuel Matthews Jr. and Frances Matthews.
