     Mary Giles Morgan, sister to Thomas Davis Giles, was two years older than her brother. She married Thomas Morgan in Wales, had four sons, all of whom died in Wales. Mary then came to Zion and arrived sometime in the latter part of the 1870's.  The ship she came on is not yet located, nor has she been located on the 1880 US Census at this time. Henry Evans Giles' pocket journal states: Nov. 28, 1877 - Aunt Mary Morgan came down from Ogden   She came from [to] the states about three weeks ago and stopped at Aunt Sarah's [Sarah Giles Farr - sister who lived in Ogden.]



     Mary is found on the Endowment House records and on Logan Temple records as she performed ordinances for herself, had them performed for her husband and her four deceased sons.  One record listed a Sarah Morgan - but to date no evidence is found that Mary had, or brought,  a daughter with her from Wales.
