                                    VETERAN CITY WORKER, VETERAN OF WALES, DIES.
       H. E. Llewellyn, 87, of 256 North Seventh West street, an employee of this city for more than 35 years, died Tuesday at the family home. He was a native of Wales but came to Utah in 1872. He was an active church worker and sang in the Tabernacle Choir for many years.
       Surviving are the following children: William J., Mrs. Carl Mosberg, both of Los Angeles, Calif;, E.H., L.E. Llewellyn, both of Chicago, Ill., Joseph F. Llewellyn, of Butte, Montana, Mrs. R.  Papworth, Jr., Mrs. Byron Sperry, Mrs. Jeanette Schlagel, George H., Gomer T. Llewellyn, and Mrs. John Goudy, all of Salt Lake.                 Deseret News, April 28, 1926, Sec.2, p.1.

                                                                           OBITUARY
                                          Funeral for Musician Will Be Held on Friday In 16th Ward Chapel
       Funeral services for H. E. Llewellyn, 87, active Church worker and musician, who died Tuesday, will be held in the Sixteenth ward chapel, Fifth West and North Temple Streets, at 2 p.m. Friday, April 30.
       Speakers will include Pres. Nephi L. Morris, Bishop Edwin F. Parry, Prof. Henry Giles, Evan Stephens and Bishop Joseph Lake, who will be in charge.
       Because of the devotion of Mr. Llewellyn to music, a special musical program has been arranged, including selections by Mrs. Lizzie Thomas Edward, Miss Jessie Evans, Miss Jessie Williams, John James, the Evans Trio, Mrs. Reta Burnham, Fred Reese and the ward choir.
       Mr. Llewellyn was a native of Wales and came to Utah in 1873. He had been a resident of Salt Lake for 43 years. He had been devoted to music since boyhood. As a young man he toured England and Wales with various glee clubs, twice singing in the Crystal Palace, London, in competition with leading choirs of the country. For 30 years he was a member of the Tabernacle Choir. He was active in Church work and held the office of high priest at the time of his death.
       The body may be viewed at the family residence, 256 North Seventh West street, Thursday evening, and Friday until 1;30 p.m. Deseret News, April 29, 1926, Sec.2, p.2.
