Arthur Bennion
TAYLORSVILLE--Arthur Bennion, 64, 1138 West Forty-eighth South Street, Taylorsville, died Sunday at 4 a.m. at his home of a heart attack.

      A son of Samuel and Rhoda Jones Bennion, early Utah pioneers, he was born Feb. 9, 1881 in Taylorsville, where he had lived most of his life.  He had been a resident of Kamas, Summit County, for two years, where he was active in Church work. Mr. Bennion had served as a member of the Taylorsville Seventies Quorum and Cottonwood Ward High Priest Quorum. He married Rebecca Pehrson June 9th, 1900, in the Salt Lake Temple.

       Survivors include his widow, Three daughters, Mrs. Zora Nelson, Mrs.  Melvina Van Valkenburg, Mrs. Pearl Phillips, all of Salt Lake City, Two sons, Harris W. Bennion and Melban Bennion, both of Rock Springs, Wyoming,  seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

       Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 1 p.m. in Taylorsville Ward Chapel by Bishop Abram Barker.  Friends may call at 4760 South State St. Tuesday evening and Wednesday prior to service, and at the family home in Taylorsville Wednesday from 12 to 1 p.m.  Burial will be in the Taylorsville Cemetery.
