       Sandy: Amy Elizabeth Dauquin, 78, 1217 E. 8725 South, died of natural causes June 18 in a Salt Lake hospital. Born December 12, 1889, Park City, Summit County to Hyrum Lorenzo and Minnie Jensen Giles. Married to Robert T. Dauquin Mar 4, 1920, Farmington, Davis County, Solemnized later in the Salt Lake L.D.S. Temple. He died Feb 17, 1961. Former Salt Lake Resident.
       Survivors, daughter Mrs. T. D. Jeanetter Mitchell, Sandy, three grandchildren and one great grandson. Sisters, Mrs. Dolly Cook, San Diego; Mrs. Margie Anderson, Mrs. Harland (Marie) Ford, both Salt Lake City.  Funeral Friday noon. Grant Seventh Ward Chapel, 3487 1300 East, Salt Lake City.          Born Oct. 29, 1891, Park City, a son of Hyrum L. and Minnie Jensen Giles. Married Sybil Whitmore May 29, 1918, Salt Lake City. Veteran of World War 1; President of Giles Mining and Milling Co., until its sale. Member, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
         Survivors: widow; sons, daughters, Mrs. W. Spencer (Georgeva) Morgan, Salt Lake City, John L. Kearns, Dr. Bryant W., Pasadene, Calif., Adrian L., San Jose, Calif., Mrs. A.K.        Vera Adele (Bille) Allen, 69, 2630 2nd East, died Tuesday at home of heart ailment.
       Born Oct 18, 1895, Salt Lake City, daughter of Hyrm and Minnie Jensen Giles. Married Henry William Allen June 1, 1930, Salt Lake City. Member, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Former owner several dry cleaning establishments.
       Survivors: Two stepdaughters, Mrs. Robert (Ruth) Ward, Monterey, Calif.: Mrs. Thomas (Mary) Poyn, Pacific Grove, Calif.; five grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Amy Dauquin, Mrs. Dolly Cook, Mrs. Margaret Anderson and Mrs. Marie Ford, all Salt Lake City.

       Ogden Mrs. Minnie Erma G. Cleveland, 59, 1192 Canyon Road, died at her home Wednesday of  a heart ailment. Born January 14, 1900, Salt Lake City, to Hyrum and Minnie Jensen Giles. Married Frank L. Cleveland June 14, 1922 in Salt Lake City. Lived in Ogden since 1949. Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of L.D.S. Had been active in Relief Society. Survivors: husband, son and daughter. Bryant L., Las Vegas, Nevada; Mrs. Diana Thompson, Salt Lake City (Holladay). Three grandchildren, brother and five sisters. Funeral announcement to be made by Lindquist and Sons Mortuary. Salt Lake Tribune Sunday, January 22, 1959.

       Murray: Funeral for Mrs. Erma Minnie Giles Cleveland, 59, Ogden, will be Saturday at 1 p.m., 4760 South State. The wife of Frank L. Cleveland, she died Wednesday at the residence in Ogden after a heart attack. Moved to Ogden in 1849. Survivors: husband, son Bryant L. Las Vegas, dauther Mrs. Glen M. H. L. Giles, Dies at L. D.  S. Hospital.
Heroism of Little Sister
Who Picks Up Blazing Infant and Submerges Her
in Tub of Water Before Mother Arrives.
	Lillian Giles, the 3-year-old child of H. L. Giles, who operates a store at 73 west Fifth South street, died at the Dr. Groves L. D. S. Hospital yesterday from the effects of burns.
	Surrounding the story of the tragic affair is one of heroism on the part of the little sister of the infant.
	As far as could be learned from the distracted family Lillian, together with her sister Margaret, who is 9 years of age, were alone in the house while the parents were waiting on customers in the store during the usual Saturday evening rush. Suddenly the mothers quick ears detected that all was not well in the house and she rushed across the lots attracted by the screams of the children. On entering she saw the child struggling in a tub of water into which she had been placed by Margaret.
PLAYING WITH MATCHES
	Investigation developed that in some manner or other the little one had secured some matches and the first thing her sister knew of the affair was when she saw the childs dress in a blaze. Without hesitating a moment she seized her sister, dragged her to a tub of water that was standing near and submerged her, putting out the flames.
	Tenderly the little one was lifted up by her distracted mother, but it was apparent that she was badly burned from the knees up to the face. Dr. E. E. Wilcox was summoned and after a hasty examination the child was removed to the hospital, where she suffered until death put an end to her pain yesterday.
