    1. The entry at Find A Grave shows the parents of Johannes "John" Schaffer to be Johan Michael Schaffer and Maria Appolonia Brosius. FamilyTree lists them as Johannes Michael Abraham Schaffer and Maria Eva Saab.

    John or Johannes SCHAFFER
DEATH:
    John and his wife, Margaret, both died from Typhoid Fever near present day Mayport in Redbank Twp., Clarion County, Pennsylvania. They were buried on their farm.
